Hi there, my name is Jeff Arthur with The Values Conversation here to talk about how to deal with problems in your life. Here’s the truth, we all screw up. Here’s the truth, we all are victimized. Here’s the truth, all of us have problems, either because we did something wrong and we brought them on ourself or we did nothing wrong and it still happened to us. Sometimes those problems can be so intense and so overwhelming and so incredible that it’s even hard to breathe. We don’t know what to do, we don’t know where do we go, we don’t know how to hold onto stuff, we don’t know where to turn to, we don’t know who we can trust, who we can’t trust, on and on and on.

I want to encourage you to understand the simple truth of John Chapter 16, Verse 33, it is Jesus Christ speaking and he simply says this, “I’ve told you these things so that you can have peace.” Here is the phrase, “In this world you will have trouble, but take heart I have overcome the world.” One way or other whatever it is, it is not as big, great, powerful, or overwhelming as the love, grace, and power of Jesus Christ. Understand he says this so we can have peace because we’re going to have problems in this world. Take heart, he’s overcome the world and he’s on your side.
