Hi there, I’m Jeff Arthur with the Values Conversation. I want to talk to you today about something that makes sense but something that we struggle to understand and that we struggle to accept and that is, if I want something different in my life, I must be willing to do what I’ve never been willing to do before. I repeat that. You’ve probably heard that in someway, shape or form but I want to say it again for effect. If I want something different in my life, I must be willing to do what I have never been able to do before to get there.
You may be able to look at yourself and, “Men, my life is in a rut. Men, I’m in my own personal insanity cycle. I’m just cycling through the emotions and the pain, making the same mistakes over and over.” If that’s the case and I want to do something different. I want to get out of that. I want to be something more. I want to go a different direction, then that means I have to be willing to do what I’d never done before to get that what I’ve never had. Zig Ziglar says, “The only difference between a rut and a grave is the link.”
It’s important to understand that if I want to get out of the rut and get out of the grave, I must be willing to become more and do what I’ve never done before. I’ve got to be before I can do and I’ve got to do before I can have. My name is Jeff Arthur from the Values Conversation. You can find out more about us on Facebook at Facebook.com/thevaluesconversation.
