Hi there, I’m Jeff Arthur with The Values Conversation. Here to talk to you about something that we all have and sometimes we don’t use as much, a sense of humor. They have proven scientifically that whenever we’re laughing and we’re relaxed and we’re having a good time, our physical body actually responds to that by releasing the endorphins that help us feel good. That’s why whenever we go to a party, or we have a family get together, or we get out of the norm of our routine and we start connecting and laughing and relaxing, people go, “Man, I feel good. We should do this more often. We need to get together.” Yeah because the laughter and the sense of humor has actually released the chemicals in our body while making you feel better.

I would encourage you today to laugh with your family, to laugh with your friends, to take the time to be around the people that you can relax with and you can laugh about- Stuff, yourself, them, something you did, something you made a mistake with. “Oh my gosh, I can’t believe I did that.” We were at a party the other night and one of our friends walked into a glass door. She didn’t see it, it was too clean. The first person to laugh at herself was her. She had a great time. We love her. We don’t think less of her. We’ve all made mistakes. We all do the wrong thing. We can all laugh it off and enjoy the journey.
