Hi, there. I’m Jeff Arthur with The Values Conversation.

I work with executives in multiple spectrums, multiple responsibilities, multiple industries. One of the things that I see over and over and over again is the constant concern and constant problem with these executives, leaders, owners is the burnout, is the exhaustion that every leader deals with and faces.

Small business owners, you understand that you’re switching hats all the time. From publicists, to marketer, to putting out fires with your employees, to working the books at night, to ordering whatever else you need, to trying to keep up with all the different responsibilities you have. It’s almost impossible.

One of the things that is lost in the whole scenario on so many small business owners is to actually take care of ourselves. We’re the owner. We’re the executive. We’re the leader. That’s not going to happen if we’re not there doing our job. It is so hard for us to do that when we’re out of balance and overloaded. We want to take care of ourselves emotionally, physically, mentally, and spiritually so that we’re on our best spot to do what we need to do for everyone else.
