Hi there, I’m Jeff Arthur with The Values Conversation. There is a scripture in the bible that is just so extraordinary that we learned to hold unto and I want to remind you of today. In a letter to the Church at Rome, Paul, as he was exhorting them, and supporting them, and encouraging them in what we’ve enumerated chapter eight verse 28 says this, “All things work together for good. For those who love God for those who are called according to His purpose.” It’s mind boggling.

You never say never. You never say always. You never say everything, and yet here’s Paul saying everything. The good, the bad, the ugly, the mistakes the failures, the successes, the decisions that you are still second guessing ten years later that you don’t need to be second guessing. Everything works together for good. It’s amazing how we serve an omnipotent, an omniscient, and omnipresent God who can take the negative, that can take our mistakes, that can take our failures, and actually turn them into good, that can take our sin, and work it to where He, and His kingdom, and the people around us are glorified, built up, supported, and advanced. Amazing. What an amazing God we serve that can take all things and work them together for good. Trust the Lord in what’s going on in your life today.
