Hi there, my name is Jeff Arthur with The Values Conversation, here today to talk about making sure that you recharge. We’ve talked about this before, I’ve talked about this before in previous videos, but it has been brought back to my attention again and I struggle to rest. I struggle to find time to recharge myself and it’s interesting how I see a pattern in my own life of going until I can’t go any farther and then dropping and having to rebuild and recharge because I don’t take time to rest along the way and I guess that’s why I’m coming back and talking about it again today because I know a lot of other people have the same problems, especially if you’re a parent. A lot of my friends [inaudible 00:00:42] I listen to people, clients, friends, associates talking about their weekends being gone because they spent all weekend sitting on an aluminum bleacher watching a child over here as the other parent is over there watching their other child while they had Cousin [Jessie 00:00:55] take another child over somewhere else and Aunt Matilda taking a child over somewhere else and watch the game and deal with the stuff and the whatever else, because you know what? It’s really jampacked schedules.

I want to encourage you today to force time in the schedule, and I’m saying that on purpose, to force the time in your schedule to make time for you. Whatever that is, reading a book, taking a bubble bath, going for a walk, going to the gym, taking a nap, whatever that looks like. It’s okay to take time to recharge and when I say that to you, I’m really talking to myself. My name is Jeff Arthur with The Values Conversation.
